"I would like to speak to someone regarding Help or replacement of a Lunderg Large Bed Alarm Sensor Pad I ordered on August 10th 2025 and just tried to install on August 23rd 2025. See attached photo of Shipping Order. The entire order included a replacement Chair Alarm Pad (CAP)and a Large Bed Alarm Pad (LBAP) they came in two boxes. Both were replacements for same which I originally installed about a year ago in 2024 per Lunderg instructions. I replaced the old CAP first, and paired it with the 3 position monitor with No Problems. When I attempted to do same with the new LBAP, the Monitor repeatedly did Not pair up with the new LBAP. After multiple attempts of checking connections, switches off/on and checking the batteries in the Monitor I was unable to pair the new LBAP to the Monitor! I then put back the old LBAP on the bed which successfully paired up with the Monitor the first time. I would prefer Not to send back the new LBAP for a replacement, if possible, I’m hoping I can talk to someone by phone in tech support and try to resolve the problem. I do Not want to try and troubleshoot it by texting, chats or emails. Please reply by email or give me a call at the numbers noted below. Best Regards Thomas P. "Easy to use"
"The chair alarm should come with sticky pads. It keeps sliding off the chair. I had to order them separately which is a pain. Otherwise, the pad works just fine."
We measured in open-spaces and it should cover a minimum of 400 feet (122 meters). Note that indoors, the building layout and materials will affect the actual distance you can receive. Homes made from wood frames and drywall will have the best performance, and signals can pass through several walls or a different floor and still be received. Materials like concrete, brick or stone will reduce range quite a bit when compared with drywall, and a metal plate can block them completely. We recommend doing some testing to make sure it will work properly in the range that you intend to use it.
The installation of sensor pads varies depending on the type. For regular bed alarm pads, they are placed over the mattress and under a fitted sheet. Under-mattress sensor pads, on the other hand, are installed beneath the mattress. Chair alarm sensor pads can be easily placed on top of chairs, recliners, or sofas, ensuring flexibility and compatibility with different seating options.
One pager can be paired with up to 3 compatible devices at the same time, like bed and chair sensor pads or call buttons.
Yes, our bed and chair alarms, as well as the call button, can be paired simultaneously with more than one pager.
Lunderg bed and chair alarm systems include batteries in both the pager and the sensor pad, and battery life depends on the specific product and usage.
The pager uses 2 AA batteries (non-rechargeable). Battery life will vary depending on how often the alarm is triggered, the distance between the pager and pad, and daily usage. If preferred, you can use rechargeable AA batteries in the pager.
The sensor pad battery life depends on the model:
Sensor pads are designed to be replaced after their expected lifespan. Over time, pressure sensors naturally lose sensitivity and accuracy, so replacing the pad helps ensure reliable performance and user safety.
Lunderg sensor pads are designed to provide long-lasting performance compared to many alternatives on the market, which typically last between 45 days and 12 months.
