01
You can’t control the surgery.
You can prepare for the recovery.
Everyone knows a bad recovery story. TKR asks more of you than you expect. What matters is being ready with something that helps all the way through. Preparation is what separates a good recovery from a bad one.

02
Your toilet is too low.
Your knee can’t afford it.
The pain you brace for isn’t the surgery, it’s the small movements after. None worse than the toilet: lowering down and pushing back up on a new knee, several times a day. A standard seat sits too low to do it safely.
03
Built for knee recovery.
Easier from day one.
Solva adds 3 inches of height, so getting up asks less of a knee that’s not ready to take the load. And the sturdy handles give you something solid to grip at the moment the new knee is most exposed. The two things your surgeon told you to look for.

04
Handles off once you're healed.
The seat's not going anywhere!
The handles support you while you’re healing. Once you’re steady, remove them in seconds for a normal-looking seat, still raised 3 inches. 95% of customers never put their old one back on, so this isn’t something you throw out when you’re better. It’s an upgrade you happened to need sooner.
05
Elegant design.
Nothing to get used to.
Clean lines, warm wood-finish handles, a seat that blends into your bathroom instead of announcing itself. And it works exactly like the toilet you already know — opens normally, closes softly, never slams. Real recovery support that doesn't look medical.

06
Install it yourself.
Ready before you are.
You can install it yourself in minutes — no special tools, no handyman needed. And once it's on, it's rock solid: it bolts directly to the toilet instead of just resting on top like floor-standing or clip-on risers do, so there's nothing to trip over and nothing that moves.

Recommended by the experts.
Trusted by 60,000+ patients.
Anthony Maritato, a licensed physical therapist specializing in knee replacement recovery, recommends Solva for the reasons that matter most after surgery: the right height, rock-solid stability, and safe, easy transfers. And he’s not alone. Over 60,000 people have gone through recovery with it.

FAQs About Solva
Raised Toilet Seat With Handles
Solva is compatible with most standard toilets. For round toilets (16-17 inches) select the Round version, and for elongated toilets (18-19 inches) select the Elongated version. The product requires accessible bolts and at least 8 inches of clearance on each side of the toilet bowl for the handles.
Our raised toilet seat adds 3 inches of height, which helps reduce strain on knees, hips, and back during transfers.
Most clip-on risers can shift or wobble over time. Ours bolts directly to the toilet, creating a stable, no-shift connection—even when weight is applied from the side.
No. It’s a leg-free design (no floor frame), which means no tripping hazard and easier bathroom cleaning.
Yes. It opens and closes like a regular toilet seat, and includes a soft-close lid with an anti-slam seat/lid design for quieter, safer use.
Yes. The handles are quick-release and removable, so you can use them when you want extra support and remove them when you prefer a cleaner look. We also include low-profile caps for a discreet finish when handles are off.
Yes. The handles are designed to provide stable, ergonomic support, and they come in a wood-finish style to keep the bathroom look home-friendly (not “medical”).
The seat provides a spacious 21-inch sitting area between handles for comfort and easier transfers. 23-inch handles are also available but sold separately.
It supports up to 300 lbs.
Yes. The seat includes quick-release hinges so you can remove it easily for deep cleaning, helping keep the bathroom hygienic.
Yes! Most customers install it in about 10 minutes without any special tools or plumber. Installation is straightforward: the seat bolts on in place of your existing toilet seat and lid for a secure, no-wobble fit. We also provide a step-by-step video guide you can follow during setup.
