I just recently purchased this toilet riser for my 88 year-old mother to use after her hip replacement surgery. My brother installed it fairly easily, and it has worked perfectly for her since her surgery! It's just the right elevation, the handles are stable and convenient, and she is very pleased with it.
The entire seat can be lifted up for easier cleaning, and the soft close function works perfectly. The price was a bit more than other brands, but the reviews were good and I wanted something that she could use indefinitely. I believe once she's recovered from her surgery, she will leave the riser on and continue using it due to the convenience of having handles for stability. My hope is that this product will maintain its quality for years to come.
