"Very helpful as I can do the daily chores around the house but my husband can still let me know when he needs assistance."
"No complaints. I gave this to my dad for his bedside alarm. He presses the button and the receiver beeps reliably as long as it’s on and flashing. Great piece of mind in a sleek package."
"This call button is understated in design but powerful in function. My elderly father finds it easy to press, and the receiver’s sound is clear across rooms. Setup was fast and intuitive."
"Works great."
"Sturdy little unit. We started using it with our Lunderg bed alarm, and it seamlessly integrates. The alarm responds instantly—even when dad presses it in the evening. No fuss, very reliable."
"Got the accessory button to go with our bed alarm system. Setup was a breeze—no need to mess with cables or apps. The alarm tone is distinct and loud enough to notice, even in another room. Very pleased."
"This call button has been a lifesaver for us. M has had dementia for 10 years and the call button is essential inour routine . We have the bed alarms and chair alarm as well. Bed alarms works well but mostly not needed. Chair alarm has never worked effectively. Too sensitive for our active user, but not really needed now. We have a person in the room 24-7 and the call button works to let us know when she wants to get out of bed or some other urgent need for attention. Thank you for helping to keep us safe. We wore out the first call button. About 5 years I think."
"Call button was easy to pair and works great"
"The button works well, even as far as I can reach the corners of my under an acre property. It is, in my opinion, poorly designed, with multiple nooks and crannies that collect body oils and dirt. The plastic case easily breaks apart, and I was able to patch it up with larger screws and washers."
We measured in open-spaces and it should cover a minimum of 400 feet (122 meters). Note that indoors, the building layout and materials will affect the actual distance you can receive. Homes made from wood frames and drywall will have the best performance, and signals can pass through several walls or a different floor and still be received. Materials like concrete, brick or stone will reduce range quite a bit when compared with drywall, and a metal plate can block them completely. We recommend doing some testing to make sure it will work properly in the range that you intend to use it.
The installation of sensor pads varies depending on the type. For regular bed alarm pads, they are placed over the mattress and under a fitted sheet. Under-mattress sensor pads, on the other hand, are installed beneath the mattress. Chair alarm sensor pads can be easily placed on top of chairs, recliners, or sofas, ensuring flexibility and compatibility with different seating options.
One pager can be paired with up to 3 compatible devices at the same time, like bed and chair sensor pads or call buttons.
Yes, our bed and chair alarms, as well as the call button, can be paired simultaneously with more than one pager.
Lunderg bed and chair alarm systems include batteries in both the pager and the sensor pad, and battery life depends on the specific product and usage.
The pager uses 2 AA batteries (non-rechargeable). Battery life will vary depending on how often the alarm is triggered, the distance between the pager and pad, and daily usage. If preferred, you can use rechargeable AA batteries in the pager.
The sensor pad battery life depends on the model:
Sensor pads are designed to be replaced after their expected lifespan. Over time, pressure sensors naturally lose sensitivity and accuracy, so replacing the pad helps ensure reliable performance and user safety.
Lunderg sensor pads are designed to provide long-lasting performance compared to many alternatives on the market, which typically last between 45 days and 12 months.
