Q&A
FAQ ABOUT CPAP PILLOWS
What is a CPAP pillow?
A CPAP pillow is a specially designed pillow that helps people using CPAP therapy sleep more comfortably. Unlike regular pillows, CPAP pillows often feature side cut-outs or ergonomic shapes that reduce pressure on the mask and tubing while sleeping.
They help maintain mask position and improve comfort during sleep therapy.
What types of CPAP masks are CPAP pillows compatible with?
Our CPAP pillows are compatible with ALL mask types & ALL brands: nasal, nasal pillow, full-face, hybrid, and face/mouth masks. They are compatible with all brands such as Philips Respironics, ResMed AirFit, and AirTouch masks.
The cut-out design allows space for the mask and hose, helping prevent mask displacement when sleeping on your side.
How do you use a CPAP pillow?
A CPAP pillow is used just like a regular pillow. Place it under your head so the mask sits comfortably within the pillow’s contour or cut-out area. Adjust your sleeping position until the mask seal feels stable and comfortable.
They are especially helpful for side sleepers and stomach sleepers.
Do CPAP pillows really work?
Yes — many CPAP users find that CPAP pillows improve comfort and help maintain a better mask seal during sleep. By reducing mask pressure against the pillow, they can help minimize air leaks and sleep interruptions.
However, comfort and effectiveness may vary depending on sleeping position, mask type, and personal preference.
Are CPAP pillows adjustable?
Lunderg CPAP Pillows are adjustable:
The Lunderg Memory Foam CPAP Pillow includes a removable layer that allows you to adjust the pillow height to better align your head, neck, and CPAP mask.
The Parkin CPAP Pillow comes with an extra bag of down-alternative filling, allowing you to add or remove filling to customize the pillow’s height and fluffiness for the best fit.
